UL / CSA

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is one of the leading providers in the field of certifications. UL-certified products are tested for compliance with safety and quality regulations and are then approved for the US market. The USA has already adopted many of the standards developed by UL as American National Standards.

CSA (Canadian Standards Association) is also an organization in the field of product testing and certification. CSA certification is an alternative to UL certification in accordance with the regulations of the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This means that products with CSA certification can also be sold on the American market.

UL/CSA certifications are mainly required on electrical products, switch cabinets, gas-powered devices, sanitary installations, personal protective equipment and many other products. Manufacturers can only deliver to North America with this test mark. This official operating license is an important part of the product launch regulations.
