Three-phase inrush current limiter

Inrush current limiters (ICLs) are widely used in the field of electronics, electrical engineering or, more precisely, in AC technology. As the term inrush current limiter suggests, this technology is required at the moment when electronic devices are switched on in order to protect them from high inrush currents. At the moment of switching on, the inrush current can be a multiple of the actual rated current. Inrush current limiters are therefore used to prevent upstream fuses from tripping and to minimize high loads on capacitors. You can configure your inrush current limiter in the following table. You select the number of phases, the rated voltage and the current.

General design features:
  • Compact design, mounted on base plate, for direct installation
  • Solid resistor/contactor combination
  • Pre-magnetization time 0.7 seconds, can be changed if required
  • Can also be used as a main contactor
  • Coil voltage 230VAC
  • Connection up to 95A to terminals, above that directly to contactor
  • 10 switching cycles per hour
  • Structure optimized for vertical installation on mounting plate
