DEFINITION OF TRANSFORMERS
DEFINITION OF TRANSFORMERS
The isolating transformer is a transformer with protective separation between input and output windings. Isolating transformers are used for electrical isolation of circuits to limit hazards arising from accidental simultaneous contact between earth and live parts or metal parts that may be live in the event of an insulation fault. The protective measures can be met with isolating transformers “Protective separation”.
Input voltage: ≤1100V
