LOW VOLTAGE DIRECTIVE

Directive 2006/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits – is in addition to the EMC Directive, the most important regulatory instrument for the safety of electrically operated equipment. This Directive replaces Directive 73/23/EEC, which was in force until the end of 15 January 2007.

EMC Directive

The EMC Directive or Directive 2004/108/EC is a European Community regulation entitled Electromagnetic compatibility (of electrical and electronic products). It replaces the “old” Directive 89/336/EEC. The aim of the EMC Directive is, in general, to avoid the electromagnetic mutual interference of the equipment.

IEC STANDARDS

The winding goods are built and tested according to the European standard EN61558 – Safety of transformers, chokes, power supplies and the like.

EUROPEAN REACH REGULATION 1907/2006

Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals
REACH is a European Union regulation that was adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals, while at the same time increasing the competitiveness of the EU chemical industry. In addition, it encourages alternative methods to identify harmful effects of substances in order to reduce the number of animal experiments.

The products of Breimer-Roth transformer factory GmbH do not contain a declarable share of SVHC substances. All products meet the requirements of this regulation.

ISO 9001 : 2008

Breimer Roth transformer factory GmbH is ISO 9001: 2008 certified. The certification is regularly examined by the VDE Institute.
